Startup Jharkhand, marked World Entrepreneurs' Day with its Monthly Startup Mixer, bringing together dozens of emerging founders from across Jharkhand for an evening of networking, storytelling, and shared learning.
The event served as a platform for founders - many of whom were meeting each other for the first time - to exchange notes on the challenges of building startups in Jharkhand's still-developing entrepreneurial ecosystem. Conversations spanned early-stage problem validation, go-to-market struggles, and the operational discipline required to scale a business outside India's traditional startup hubs.
The mixer was graced by Mr. Abhinav Shah, a Jharkhand-based entrepreneur known for building Osam Dairy into a ₹300 crore enterprise before its successful acquisition. Mr. Shah, who is currently building a new venture - Dishaayen, shared insights from his entrepreneurial journey, and unglamorous work that precedes visible growth.
The event is part of Startup Jharkhand's broader effort to build a connected founder community in the state, alongside its ongoing initiatives including the NIRMAN pre-accelerator programme and SAKSHAM startup accelerator programme.
Startup Jharkhand continues to position itself as a central node in Jharkhand's emerging startup ecosystem, with regular mixers, accelerator cohorts, and ecosystem-building programmes planned through the rest of the year.
