RANCHI, September 16, 2026: Startup Jharkhand, in partnership with the Jharkhand Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (JIIDCO) and SanchiConnect, hosted the Tally Startup Collective - an initiative by Tally Solutions in Ranchi today, bringing together investors, industry leaders, and startup founders for a day dedicated to fundraising strategy, networking, and investor relationship-building.
The event opened with a Welcome Address by Mr. Shubham Raj, Chief Enabler, Startup Jharkhand, followed by a Special Address from Mr. Sanjay Kumar Sahu, General Manager, JIIDCO, who underscored the importance of collaborative platforms in strengthening the state's startup ecosystem.
Mr. Gautam Chakraborty, AGM, Product Excellence at Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd., introduced the Tally Startup Collective and unveiled Tally Companion, a new offering aimed at supporting founders with business tools tailored to their growth stage.
The session featured two keynote addresses. Ms. Chahat Aggarwal, Managing Director at A Square Capital, spoke on "Pitch with Purpose: Storytelling That Wins Trust and Investment," addressing how founders can craft narratives that resonate with investors. This was followed by Mr. Kumar Dheeraj, Investments at VC Grid, who spoke on "From Pitch to Partnership: Building Investor Relationships," focusing on long-term engagement beyond the initial fundraising ask.
A panel discussion titled "Capital is Not Strategy: Building Before Fundraising" brought together Ms. Chahat Aggarwal, Mr. Shubham Raj and Mr. Kumar Dheeraj, moderated by Mr. Vijay Bawra, VP-Growth at SanchiConnect. The panel discussed the importance of building strong business fundamentals ahead of pursuing external capital.
Following a networking lunch, the event concluded with dedicated 1:1 pitch sessions, where five startups nominated by the Startup Jharkhand team engaged directly with investors and industry experts present at the event.
Speaking on the collaboration, Startup Jharkhand reiterated its commitment to creating platforms that connect Jharkhand's founders with the right mentors, capital, and tools needed to scale sustainably.
The Tally Startup Collective marks another step in Startup Jharkhand's ongoing efforts, alongside partners like JIIDCO, to strengthen the state's entrepreneurial ecosystem through targeted, high-value engagements for early-stage founders.
